Just to clarify. This obsession doesn't particularly go beyond the visual.
I'm a cheap picture maker. I will scrounge and acquire as many materials as possible for little to no dollar.
It could be argued that it is due to a moral stand point relating to recycling and reusing resources available but this could potentially be a lie. I simply find old/used/found objects far more interesting than new. Not as a trendy 'vintage' 'retro' quest... As aforementioned, I'm cheap when getting my cardboard on. and definitely a little bit too keen on junk scavenging.
This is not to say this blog showcases individuals of a similar ilk...
It is a mere collection of other things I find far more interesting than the norm.
Also fairly into old maps. We'll address that later.
